Testy Tulips
Last summer I planted tulip bulbs in my planter pots. The results were very nice, as you can see.
This fall I did the same thing and I put my planted pots in my garage so the bulbs wouldn't get frostbite. Now the tulips are already growing and it's only February 11th! They don't look so good either. So, should I put my pots outside now and hope for the best, or leave them in my garage? No really, I'd like some feedback!

What you want to do is get some kitty litter, put it in the pot, let some cats use it so you get fertilizer, and then alikazam...big beautiful flowers. Works every time. Love, Michael
I learned that from my flowering merit badge.
Hi Carrie! I'll give you some real advice instead of Michael's take on this! If you want your bulbs to NOT bloom yet, keep them in a dark cool place until spring. But, be sure to water the soil every once in a while. If you feel you want to go ahead and force the bulbs, then bring them inside and give them sunlight with watering. Hope that helps!! -Kim
Thanks Kim, I'll take your advice instead of Mike's! Although, Mike's was pretty creative!
To Mike: Evidently Mom didn't help you with that merit badge!
13 Good things about flowers!...
