As Close As I Get

This is as close as I will ever get to scrapbooking:

This year in Relief Society we are doing homemade cards for each sister's birthday. My 1st counselor is really into card making so it was actually fun to learn something new. I was a little concerned as I was making the cards because I didn't want people to start shoving scrapbooking down my throat! Seriously people, it's just cards, NOT scrapbooking! Don't get any wise ideas.

Is this in place of the cakes?

Good job Carrie! I knew you could do it. No pressure. I am sure you'll be perfectly happy in one of the lower degress of glory.

I'M KIDDING! And besides, blogging is way cheaper than scrapbooking.

Yep, this is in place of cakes. It's nice because we made enough cards to cover the birthdays from January through March. We take turns in the presidency, delivering cards for a week at a time. The sisters get a handmade card, with handwritten messages inside, and a candy bar. Precious!

Carrie I never thought I would see you venture to the "other side". The cards are cute! I'm more impressed that you actually admited to card-making.

Those are some sweet cards. Speaking of sweet, Grandma Sweet has some sweet skills in accordance with card-making. She also has sweet nunchuck skills.
