People were asking Fern what Aaron is like now that he's home from his mission. Her response was "he's basically the same, just more mature" At that exact moment she looked out the window and saw Aaron climbing the flag pole. Nevermind about that "mature" bit... Ha!

I shouldn't have zoomed in on Aaron when he was on the flagpole because the picture doesn't show how high he actually was. He's like Spiderman. Remember the time when he had a cast on his arm and he was jumping on the trampoline and when his dad came into the back yard he said, "hey dad, watch this!" and then he jumped so high and tried to land on the roof but his belt buckle got caught on the raingutter and his upper body flopped with a thud halfway on the roof and he was trying to hang on with his broken arm? Remember the look Russ gave everybody when that happened? I can't stop laughing as I'm typing this, it was soooooooo funny! Remember?
Yes, I remember when Aaron jumped on the roof. He ended up having a cast on for like 8 months because he wouldn't slow down. He went wake boarding with his broken arm as well. He learned to write with his left hand that year!
Sam - I can totally hear you laughing right now! If I were there, I'd be laughing with you! That is such a great memory. I love the memories that make me laugh real hard even when no one is around. Ahhh, family! They are always there for a good laugh.
You said it. I only have a few people in my family that give everyone a good laugh but my sister's family is the greatest concentration of them.
