Normal?

When Carson was brushing his teeth this morning, he said "Look at my tooth!". I looked and this is what I saw:

I'm thinking it's not normal. His baby tooth is being pushed out through the front of his gums by his permanent tooth. Before I take him to the dentist and risk having an unpleasant experience, I was wondering if anybody has seen this before.

There's always something....

I think it came from the cookies you made. My brother Kimball had all sorts of funky teeth problems. When he was 3 he grew an extra front tooth, so they pulled all three and hoped two would come back. So we had a 3 year old for years without front teeth. Later his teeth did come in.

Also, Dr. said good news, dialation is a 1.5, so next Tuesday or Weds. I don't think that was good news. So the bun stays in the oven. He may not be as big as predicted, I am carrying a lot of fluid. So don't be around when my water breaks.

Who the heck is Kimball? I thought I knew all your brothers: Casey, Jarom, Brady, and David.

that is great news about the baby! Good luck!

Carrie-this is Laurel Hansen, well, King. Anyway, that happended to Lindsey's teeth, I swear her middle name should have been Kujo. I'm surprised she never started foaming at the mouth. But she had 2 teeth that started growing in pushing her baby teeth up out and down, it was C-razy. The baby teeth eventually fell out, but those snaggle teeth became a problem and made it look even more terrible when she finally got braces on.

That's how I roll Sam! If she gets his baby teeth pulled, I'm sure the perma tooth will grow in normal. Mom and Dad just waited for the baby teeth to fall out.

Here is what I told Carson as I dropped him off to school:
"After school we are going to go to the dentist so he can look at your tooth. He'll probably pull it out with a special tool."
Carson said:
"okay"

What the heck! I've been trying for weeks to pull that tooth and he FREAKED out if I came near it! Oh well, as long as Fern is there everything will be fine. :)
